Episode 10.5 - Goin' to the Chapel
Today in a very special episode of drink this podcast we drink a DDC that as far as we know is no longer available.
Meanwhile Matt tells the story of how he became engaged to the greatest little conservative on the planet. The only thing white about this wedding will be the bride and groom
Beer specs: NONE!! you will never ever drink this! nana nana boo boo!
UPDATE: We have since come to realise that we're idiots, and apparently this is the once and future release from DDC under the Derniere Volonte name. So, erm, $16ish, minimal availability in AB. Sorry!

And We're Back! episodes 6 - 8
After a brief holiday hiatus we have returned to round out our three part Ayinger series. The three beers reviewed in this series (in episode order) were the Oktoberfest Märzen (I could drink a Litre-Hosen of this!), the Celebrator Doppelbock (Merry Drinkin' Christmas), and this week's the Weizenbock (Like it or Not, we're back!). All are pretty easily available in Edmonton, except the märzen, wich as we pointed out is seasonal.
Look for brand new episodes coming soon, until then, check out this series.

Episode 5 - Sorry... But We've Been Drinking
In this Weeks Episode: Mikkeller's Santa's Little Helper 2012 is reviewed
The guys talk Philosophy, Metal, and Star Trek. Our lack of conversation about the beer seems to be an indicator of what we think of it. Not monk blowing quality.
Also.... there is no fucking excuse for what you're about to hear. We would not blame you for skipping this train wreck of an episode. That being said, if Liz & Dick was up your alley, this episode is for you. You have been warned.
Beer Specs:
Style: Dark Belgian Strong Ale (quadish)
Country Of Origin: Denmark
ABV: 10.5%
Packaging: 750 ml bottle
Availability: Specialty and boutique shops
Average Alberta Retail Price: 13$ ish
